Armchair analysts, cast your eyes upon Pitchfork

I think potentially there is a lower chance of there being a KingShip in the front 6 as there is no known Large jump from the back 10 making them a more survivable attack option, however we know there was a King involved in the fall of Orion so either it fought its way there, there is a hidden...

Armchair analysts, cast your eyes upon Pitchfork

Hi there TESTies, in another thread Pitchfork was mentioned and it got me wondering where on the front would be best for the push: Looking at the above map, assuming no hidden jump points, there are two distinct clusters of Vandu'ul systems, the rear line of 10 which are really only...

Which will be your home system?

Now there is a good question for another thread, where on the Front would Pitchfork be most likely to break through...? Actually I'll start one now.

    It is known. . .

I ask because I can think of a very famous example of destructive activism from 1773 involving a shipment of tea so you're going to have to go back quite a few centuries before you hit Never...?

    It is known. . .

    When exactly was "Never"?

Which will be your home system?

I was wondering if enough people who didn't want to let go of the war got together in the same place there would be another Xeno Threat type situation but in reverse :-)

Which will be your home system?

Ahhh, I was wondering where the smell of singed ear hair was coming from :glorious:

    It is known. . .

I'd slightly disagree with that - they can do one thing: amplify those angles, agendas, and intentions - from defacing monuments and works or art to changing laws to simply sharing URLs incessantly that amplification is a crucial part of instilling their design be it malicious or benign.

Which will be your home system?

Oooh, Bremen? Had a read up on that place what an interesting history, and home of Consolidated Outland, very nice. And going walkabout, good plan. To slightly misquote a comic I once read: Where did they go? Out. What did they do? Everything.

Which will be your home system?

Sounds like the kind of backstory which won't let the war go without a fight. Would they be keen to keep up aggression even in peacetime and eventually be fighting the Vandu'ul and the parts of the UEE that don't agree with their viewpoint? That might force a system best able to defend against...

Seems TEST might have a good representation with the Banu, Microtech is a nice place though, hopefully good for fishing rivers on the equator I hear...?

don't forget bed logging and space stations are faster than landing zones for getting in\out of the game, it might be those become the heroes we didn't ask for but the ones we deserve.

    Star Wars Outlaws

In the best traditions of TEST! You're in good company my friends, if we can't be fools and see ourselves of what we are then surely what is the point of it all, for it is said: "True wisdom is in knowing that we know nothing"

Wasn't aware Tyrol might have some leisure and tourism? Thought it was a pretty sketchy system to be in as the star is about to explode?

Which will be your home system?

I hear you on that one - based upon current indications of what the systems are actually about do any take your fancy as potentials? How about Cathcart with no planets at all but there is a galactic junkyard centuries old and the Spider superstructure colony? Maybe Min System which isn't a...

Which will be your home system?

Oooh, very cool a traveling commodities trader - I played that for the longest time in X2, buying low where it was low, selling high where it was high and keeping it in my hold until i found a price I couldn't say no to unless I needed the space a very chill way to play a game while making good...

Which will be your home system?

Ahh, yes this is my main plan with the Walkabout and why I have an Endeavour as a mobile base - my own-made backstory is I'm running from my home-world of Lier 2 (The outsiders) so am not recognised as an official citizen of anywhere. With 100+systems to explore I'm not planning on locking...
