With 60 players, we can almost have a decent fight between two fully crewed capital ships. So there is still much work to be done, but at least we're getting somewhere.
With an organization as large and international as this, there is a good chance that we have people who have been on opposite sides.
Hope we can overcome our differences, and keep the wars to come purely in virtual space.
I'll just eagerly wait till 3.0. When 3.0 hits, I'll start eagerly waiting for 3.1 before the patch has even installed.
If any of you guys have a secret time machine, now would be a good point to bring it out. Doesn't need to go backwards in time, a model with just forwards is enough.
Hmm, if you need to have alcohol in your blood to time travel, well, alcohol keeps your blood from freezing, so we can conclude that time travel cools your body down significantly?
Okey, whenever I went drinking, I used to call that "a networking event". Now I guess I can also call it "a...
TEST SQUADRON - because 14,000 auroras can't be wrong.
TEST SQUADRON - where we get you so drunk you can't even find the leave org button. Not that you wanted to.
What's the difference between TEST and BEST?
-There is no difference. TEST = BEST.
Maybe I'll make pretty pictures later...
You call that a drinking problem? Ha! Here's a drinking problem!
You got a six-pack of beer, 33cl per bottle @ 5.7%. You also have a bottle of whiskey, 50cl @ 40%.
You weigh 70kg and 70% of you is liquid. This particular whiskey doesn't taste good unless you're 0.6‰ drunk, and optimal level of...
Well, that, and being more badass. Y'know, because you're on a suicide-machine like you didn't care. Kind of every time you board a ship with a TEST pilot. Same difference, suicide-machines are badass.
Did you mean:

I call this formation "Filmatic scatter". You might have seen it being used in such films as "Every sci-fi movie ever".
Note the total lack of positioning per role, small ships in the back with no line of sight to the front, larger non-combat vessels in the front... but it looks good! And it's...
Ah, I was actually just watching a vid about this the other day. I don't play EVE, but I'm glad they're kind enough to provide us with all this entertainment.
Have also been in the receiving end of such betrayals in the past. I was in a top 5 faction in another game, one of our major officers...
So I was chatting with this one guy in SC last night. We started talking about orgs and I mentioned I've been in TEST pretty much since I started actively playing SC. So then he says "TEST huh? Those guys who are drunk all time but couldn't fly straight even when they are sober?"
Well, I took...
Welcome!
Ask you anything? Huh, sure:
An Aurora starting from 355, 677, 899 is flying along vector 5, 3, -6. There is a stationary idris at 1200, 900, 100. How many beers must the aurora pilot consume in order to crash into the idris?
Brevity is not a secret code. It's an agreed upon list of terms with exact meanings to shorten and clarify communications (for combat purposes). Without brevity, that video would've been much longer, there was significantly more information passed around than just "there's a bad guy, shoot him...
I think we might need to also add few words more suitable for futuristic space fights, don't think the original US brevity covers those situations very well.
In any case, putting the brevity up on the page somewhere would most definitely help with those of us who haven't served in US military...
I'm personally going with Taurus. I figure it has enough cargo space to be making profits out of even the cheaper goods which have smaller margings. Or, that's what I'm guessing anyways. The thing I especially like about Taurus, is that it supposedly has a lot of upgradeability. More so than a...
