For Star Citizen and all other current games the 970 is enough. It only falls short if you are doing something more serious, like Iray or Octane renders.

Two Talies should be able to put it down, especially if a Sentinel is in support with no damage to return fire. It is all about Rock Paper Shotgun.

Unless they are selling Tali Modules, a Stalker module, or I can upgrade a Nox to a ground vehicle that I can fit in a Tali Cargo Module, then I don't need anything else for my fleet. :) And I seriously doubt that modules will be for sale before Gamescom.

But it makes the Margaritas and Rum Runners taste funny.

OK. I am done for the year. Updated my starter pack from 3 months to 60 months Insurance, added Squadron 42 and It is back to being an Avenger Titan. Melted my Cutlass Black, and upgraded my Freelancer to a Retaliator, upgraded my Hornet Ghost to a Vanguard Sentinel. Plus a Warden BUK...

Thor Shots are not expensive. They amount to dropping a I-Beam into a gravity well. Comparatively a Nuke is a small boom. LOL. Heck, we have tractor beams that move asteroids. Just throw a rock.

Even storm troopers can hit the broad side of a barn if it isn't moving. Besides with a Thor Shot you only have to be close. :)

Per the starship stat sheet explanation page, they become combo packs. A Module and Equipment to change between the Harbinger, the Sentinel and the Warden. All the variants have all the same hardpoints now as well. (Same pylon mounts, for example.) So based on Noobs video, and the corrections...

Except the 4 weapons in the nose of the vanguard, in 2.6.3, have the range of a Size 2 weapon but do the damage of a size 3 weapon. So it has 2 size 2, 4 size 2.5 and one size 5. Add 16 size 2 missiles or 8 size 3 missiles and it isn't all that outgunned, short of the Hurricane.

I can't stand the Cutlass. I like the way the Vanguard Warden flies and fights, currently, before the beginning rework. No it isn't going to out turn a Sabre, or Gladius, but a P38 couldn't out turn a Zero either. :)
