Supposedly, yes, but you supposedly have to wait 24 hours after purchasing a ship / package before you can melt it to your buy back area to be purchased later. You should be able to purchase 1 ship per annual quarter with creds. Otherwise you have to purchase them with new funds.

I agree about the DireHawk. The ShadowHawk reminds me of an idea I had the other day of an OWL ship in honor of @Blind Owl that I posted in some other thread here.

How long do you have to wait before you can melt a new concept ship for creds? I have 1 target to hopefully obtain each day on the 27th & 29th which might empty my saved creds that I have on hand.

Actually, my idea was that the turrets would somehow defend against incoming missiles, torpedoes & other forms of attacks to better protect the ship's shields from taking as much damage. Not to be an assault craft.
