Sincerest condolences, no amount of knowing something bad is out and about can ever prepare for this and makes our eye on the Colorado charts to see what the lifting of restrictions does especially poignant. Take care O-Lefty.

Interesting little roundup of the different ways numbers can be wrought for statistics purposes from the BBC, seems to be what has been said in the course of this thread but goes into a bit of detail about how each one may be of benefit even if it is not the more accurate...

In that case I suggest we continue looking at Colarado as a curiosity in the understanding that it is not representative of the country as a whole. I really must get into API's to pull in junk, I've got Macros in spreadsheets down pretty well but using the automated recorder to get it to...

Colorados info looks to be excellent, if you can get me similar for those other places I'll try to put a spready together. Are NY and FL and MI all following the Colorado relaxation? If not it's comparing Apple Tech with Apple Corps. EDIT - Actually that's given me an idea, a pain in the ass...

Thanks for the link, great find! That's definitely an unforeseen consequence, I never would have guessed a health service's capacity could shrink during a time of national crisis. The deaths at home rate has risen in the UK (link in an earlier post) but as far as I am aware I don't think think...

Andy Serkis is doing a live reading of the Hobbit tomorrow! May 8th 10 BST (5am EST, 2am PST)

Gaw, wish I'd caught a bit. It's such a mental drain to read aloud even for an hour but multiple hours? I'm not surprised he'd have had times like that, and we thought it was tiring doing a twenty minute presentation or reading a long story to our kid at bed time? All respect to the champ 👍

No need for an apology I just wasn't able to tune in due to home life 🙂 If Mrs and Baby 'BobFace don't want to hear my sounds they don't get played 😉 I was hoping for it to be on the 'Tube so I could consume it in chunks but alas no. If they put it on sale for £12 I'd buy that if I'm not...

Incomplete data suggest Germanys R rate (the infection reproduction rate) has risen above 1 person, to 1.1. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-52604676 The R number basically means at 1, one infected person infects one more person so if 100 people have COVID-19 100 other people will get...

It was known to go there ages ago, i recall hearing about that at the beginning of March. I don't think they widely publicized it t the time as its just such a common symptom it would be difficult to test every case... ...that said if its a safer way of getting Covid-19, as in it doesn't go...
