The place I work for has been working from home since the beginning of the first wave so I doubt anything will change for me either, fingers crossed.

I suspect you may be right. A circuit breaker may have worked six weeks ago which was when the scientists were advising it but now seems like bows and arrows against the lightening. I never did understand the local lockdowns intention when the virus was already everywhere - it was only ever...

Not entirely sure what you are trying to say? Look at this map from the UK for example: It is the current infection rate per capita in each area and the motorway network overlaid on it. From this map and the concentration of motorways in almost all of the most infected places, I can see a...

Sub Flair for November is out.

D-: Hang on... isn't that the same with actual bullets though...? I see this as being practice for that crossbow from millennia ago. Non-standard ammo you can pick back up out of your enemies/the environment if you can pull it back out that tree you jammed it into.

Frikkin' sold! I've been waiting for the TWRL TP 20,000 toilet paper gun for a novelty weapon in the game but these will do very nicely until that comes along if it ever does. Bet they'll let you use them in the Armistice Zones too. Remember, it's just a game and games are for having fun in! 🙂

I don't think it's coincidence PayPal selected me to apply for it's credit card today... I can imagine the application interview now: PPal: "Well, Mr.BobFace, your credit score seems to be a good indication of your eligibility, one last question, have you ever donated to a crowd funder?" BFace...

I see what you mean, but when my toaster manual said "Don't use in the bath" I took that to mean that someone / more than one person in the past had tried and reaped the consequences... Then again the experts who made that toaster can't know my specific bath tub, can they? Maybe mine will be...

Thank you for the info, another snapshot in the unfolding horror that is the COVID-19. If you called this pandemic by any other name than "tragedy" it would be no less bitter, would you not agree?

In the UK we have been asked not to go to the A&E (uk version of the ER i think?) if we had symptoms as it would just spread it around to vulnerable people who may be there. As everyone knows no one can follow simple rules, numbers of attendance to hospital A&E's across the country plummeted, as...

That's not false, its a truism. Humanity has no more control over what this virus does than any other virus - I suppose we can no more expect COVID-19 to bugger off than we can expect the common cold to do one. If that's your point - you've made it. What we do have control over is our countries...

Indeed, a discussion we have had many times along this thread. Short term(?) economic gain or long term survival of the vulnerable in the population - but right now it looks like Europe has failed on both counts. Again, it's one of those things that looking at it half way through will not give...

Cool stuff, and I think you have answered your own earlier question: The virus will run its course. You can either go in hard, kick it in the nuts and go back to normal as they have in New Zealand, or you can take it on the chin, roll with the punches until it puffs itself out or you go down...
