[Video] An entire planet for $6M?

Frequently, but my RL job interferes a lot nowadays. It's more like a hobby right now, but one that could lead to a business in the near future.

[Video] An entire planet for $6M?

https://www.fraghero.com/10-most-expensive-virtual-goods-ever-sold/ Note. the last item which is real (2.5 million for 25,000 parcels of virtual real-estate) is a transaction by Anshe Chung (an Avatar name). Anshe is the first real world millionaire based on income from gaming activities...

    The new subscriber ship: Reclaimer?

That is your client, not the network or the Reclaimer itself that causes that. It's not part of network bind culling, which is why I'm kind of worried about the pushback that's going to happen when network bind culling is implemented, and no immediate performance gains are available from it...

UPDATE: This sale, 6 million USD for the planet Calypso was apparently cancelled. The purchaser was not able to complete the payments.

    3.2 evocati?

@CrudeSasquatch ... you seem to have something affecting your eye. There's a cure for that. Close your eyes tight, hold your breath and chug a pint of Moosehead*. If that doesn't work, chug another. Repeat until your eye stops doing that. * Anything but a President's Choice Beer can work...

    Ohhhhh, the hypocrisy!

Just to put some things to bed. Insert the standard "I am not a lawyer" disclaimer here. I just happen to have a lot of IP experience. TLDR; Summary: Basically this passes most tests for fair use - but there is a potential catch, last paragraph. You don't copyright or patent a logo...

[Video] An entire planet for $6M?

lol. That would insinuate you'd have to pay for it. You don't. But no. You can get involved in activities that might attract the interest the tax-man, or could land your rear end in federal prison.

[Video] An entire planet for $6M?

I am totally not surprised. There are a number of games with virtual economies, and have described some of this in TEST's forums. People can pooh pooh the idea if they want, but this is a real way to make money, for at least the last 15 years. I have a few friends who have had incomes well...

    SCANNING and MINING

I think those, and the tracker @Bambooza mentioned, but also the Prospector should have scanning, that's the ship they demo'd in the video. Some others that aren't in the game yet, like the Freelancer Dur, and who knows what else.

    3.2 evocati?

Pretty much what i was looking at, along with game play tasks. They need to be up front about what is not going to be ready. That would take a lot of the heat off. Also, they apparently just assigned a bunch of developers to 3.2 tasks. I think that was a comment in one of the recent videos...

    The new subscriber ship: Reclaimer?

I don't even know which ships are loaner's, and which are subscriber trials anymore. Looks like the Reclaimer is there though. I have some other ships available that I'm not sure why. One of them I'm very happy with is the Super Hornet. I might actually buy that at some point.

    Grinding Credits in Update v3.1.4

What you need, really need if you're not a morning person, is a kid who either plays hockey (Canada), or a kid in the FFA (USA) raising a heifer. Both will set you back 5K or more, and 5 AM is a regular thing. In fact, there are scenarios in which 5 AM will seem like sleeping in.

TEST Squadron's Clifford_aka_Miku gives haters a middle finger and buys the Legatus package

Not "congratulations", but Good on you @Clifford_aka_Miku !!! I guess I have no saving graces then. I live South of Houston. Much further south, I'd be typing from a boat. And, I'm from Canada originally, so it took me 3 years to be able to go outside in July. But I've been in Midland...
