    Apparently this is required

Welcome to Test @gozzling!!! And good luck with the kid! Once they're born, don't blink. Drink in every moment, and enjoy it for all it's worth. It doesn't seem like it as you go through their upbringing, but it all happens way too fast in the end.

    A Tale of 3.1

Hah sounds like an adventure. I crash every 20-40 minutes so don't worry, you're not alone. Also I don't like that it takes hours for some of the ships to re-spawn when reclaimed from a crash, but they might be including a fix for that in a soon-to-be-released patch. You might also want to...

Real talk: likelihood of getting my camera back

No idea where you should start looking for it, but I do know this: if I was in the market to buy a consumer product like a camera that is likely to be impacted by a trade war, I would want to buy in the next 30 days, or wait till the dust settles.

    3.1 is live

Patch for stability might be a good thing, I am also thinking I need a bit of a better system. I just need to wait till the end of April before I can think about that.

    3.1 is live

It's not so bad at all, this is kind of fun. I'm in the process of figuring out some circuitous routes that would enable visiting each station, and outpost in a sequence until you've run through all of the commodities. The problem is, for me at the moment, the chance of crashing and losing...

    Welcome member 17,000!

No, but I do have a theory... but that would completely derail the conversation in one post. Wouldn't be fair to the others.

    Application...I think?

Welcome to Test @Keg !!! Actually that might be any one of us. Just sayin. We don't *try* to crash into other ships, it just happens. So we also theorycrafted that a Starfarer could also be retrofitted with huge beer kegs, and we found a "probable non-design" use for the side doors in a...

    2946 Aggressor in the house

... That explains a lot. Last night I was in an instance you had to dodge Reclaimer parts and abandoned hulks, to leave Olisar.

    2946 Aggressor in the house

Yes but we have Discord for getting that organized without the cyberstalking business. That and it's a hell of a lot better than typing when you're in combat.

Today I woke up in some dudes apartment, a couple of countries away from home.

I say, go for it! The Baltic states are my favorite for a lot of reasons, some of which is the beer. But I also study Early and Gothic medieval history as a hobby, and that region is more than steeped in it.

    Turtle Power

the Terrapin is a cool ship, even if it looks like a turtle. I flew mine for about 30 minutes today, it seems to me to be kind of light on weapons, but shielding and engine power are good. It has max speed of 1205 m/s on afterburner? I think that's right. It can outrun a Cutlass anyway. The...

    Guns. Good or Bad?

I think this discussion is far too politically charged and divisive for this kind of forum. There is no headway to be made by having this discussion here.

Petrolheads, SUV owners, I need your advice (car buying)

There's one in every town. But they're handy to have around, even if he works for a business that might be a cover for a chop shop. Thing is, they know their way around and through all those pesky regulations. In most places, you can even home-build a vehicle, and get it registered. You just...

    Video of AZ Uber crash

The simple answer is, the technology is not as good as the hype and expectations surrounding it claims it is. It might have detected the person at some level, it certainly had the sensor technology to do so, but it doesn't necessarily follow that the software knows what to do with the sensor...

    Video of AZ Uber crash

That is a good question you know. The word "proven" is a big topic in this. The problem is that the system is a Level 2 certified automation systems (where we are now... state of the art) have proven they are able to stay in a lane, and follow the speed limit. They have not proven any other...
