in Eve Online the mission runners and folks doing other types of PVE spend their Spacebux on expensive upgrades to optimise their productivity
they don't put those maxed-out ships at risk
the PVPers go for whichever ship has the best stats for its role in box-stock trim
you want fast, cheap...
so TEST morphs into an alliance, an umbrella Org
we can set up out of game comms if we need to supplement game-provided tools
just require members of the guild-aligned Orgs take a Blood Oath of Loyalty to our Dear Leader, and then tax the Orgs for the funds to build stations and starships

all we've done here gamewise since 2013 is speculation and theorycrafting
I'm not psyched up any more, and I've learned more patience than I want to know
happily, the social aspects of TEST make the wait not only bearable, but fun
amen to the 20 Mhz '286, that was the spec of the first PC I built. But I splurged on a second Mb of ram and an 80 Mb HDD. When I discovered Wing Commander I added a 320x480 Hercules graphic card with an extra serial port for a Logitec joystick. Wireframe Hotness!

all the newbs here should read Please Don't Like My Thread Campaign, where I've posted a lot, from front to back
so I can harvest even more likes with zero effort
there is a direct correlation between standard of living and energy consumption
until the rest of the world catches up to Europe and North America's standard of living, energy demand will just keep going up
and we can't bring sustainable energy online anywhere near fast enough to meet rising...
