Last word I heard on this is you will not be able to port at all apart from respawning after death. Transportation is a serious and time consuming part of the game, and we have not tasted any of it yet. With new planets opening, range on ships becoming an issue and time to travel a real thing...

I was under the impression that mission running was a good way to get rec. I thought I saw a mission that was only about 5 minutes and was worth 700? And you get to pick up weapons, booze too? Is that not a viable way to earn cash?

There are so many mistakes on the ships stats page that it is almost useless. That's why I was asking about the Stalker. Seems a big selling point if it really carries 8 S3 missiles--same as the Sentinel. Missile stats are changing rapidly on the spreadsheet. Ranges are all reduced lately...

What do you intend to do with it? One of the nice things about the Avengers is they are fast. There are lots of ships like the Hornet, that can easily catch a Cutlass, that cannot catch an Avenger. This makes the Cutlass a very vulnerable solo ship, so beware. It's a big target.

Prowler. With one of those you can have everyone else's ships for free, and it comes with awesomeness guns, so if it gets blowdupitty not so much you have to pay for. Gotta have LTI with a ship that expensive, and fly it every day.

I heard the miniseries was good but have not seen it. That seems to me the best way to cope with a book of this length or a series of books. I have not seen the Shannara Chronicals but heard it is good too--similar approach to moving stuff to screen.
