It's probably because we are still in Alpha. Why author all the files into an ISO or whatever game packager if you are going to have to strip half of them out to work on them or update them? Purely assumption but it sounds right.

How is Arena Commander for combat in 4k? It always plays better than the PU (Alpha patches up to now anyway).

I suppose battlezones without atmospheres will be ship based. Even if it became Tonk war, a track comes off and that crew is stranded with no hope of survival. I can't think of any point that would be strategic enough without an atmosphere... other than a moon whos orbit intersects an enemy base...
