If all you have is a Cutlass and a dragonfly then there is no reason to have an 85x. Get the Nox because you can carry it in your Cutlass. Snubs are next to useless without a host.

As far as minimum crew goes, I'd say 1 pilot, 1 engineer, and 1 for every turret as a minimum. But you're right about style. The more comfortable ship is better for the pilot. The Carrack has some tricks and the Caterpillar has others. As for arguing price, the Carrack is going to jump in...

Another thing to think about is since so many ships can be used to do the same job, which one would you rather have when not doing a high risk cargo run?

Really depends on the mission too. How far is the run and where does it go? Is faster better than cautious advance? Are there places to hide? Do you need lots of fuel? Would smaller jump points help out? Should you hide it with other cargo? So many ways of doing this. So many playstyles and...
