I've got us an Idris we can use to carry 3. We'll have plenty of time to figure out what we need and which fighters and bombers we'll want. I'm also working on a Hull D so we can steal everything feom any Hull D we find by transferring the boxes :)

Depends on what you need it to do. If the objective is destroy, then yes. Defeat responding UEE patrols for more security for our piracy, destroy unwanted competition, or quickly exterminate escorts. What it is not good at is carrying cargo or doing anything after the payload is launched...

Oh, it's a little more complex than that. I'm tailoring my fleet to loan out AND to have that fleet be made of the ships that people would be missing. Everyone has a fighter and maybe a good utility ship, but not everyone has those cool industrial ships. I am also going the distance to set up...

My fleet is for filling the holes that people need to have a good time. Say you want to do X. Today, X is a fuel run. Most Testies may only have an Aurora or possibly have upgraded to a fighter. Since most people can run escorts, I'll have the bigger and more expensive ships to fill the gaps...

I dissagree about the warzone part. Debris won't always be in a warzone. There's that whole system that's just a junk yard, ship debris in asteroids, abandoned facility parking, planet wrecks, and more. Combat zones just happen to have the freshest meat, not that Owl will need to worry about...

By other 350 ship, do you mean the 350r? Owl, searching for salvage IS exploration. What do you want to do for expliration? Bring back data from some asteroid you found (Carrack) or bring back new jump point data (Carrack)? Or do you want to bring back a few weapons and a hull full of scrap...
