Isn't there an option to put together a party (of TESTies) in AC? and would that get us the Pirate Gladius? I finished it in single player with a Warden, it definitely helpd to go after the P-52's in a group, 1 v. 1 they just kept zooming by me.

The quick answer is, right now in game, there really isn't any difference between the two in what you can outfit them with. The real differences are the extra seat and the 10 km/s slower speed with the Super Hornet. Originally, there were more differences, real and planned...like in 2.6 &...

I'll should be able to make it. I have a variety of ships, Prospector, Warden, SH, Freelancer MIS, I can do a bunch of roles and/or loan a ship out or two.

For some reason, the damn little P-52 gnats were the hardest little buggers to kill...it defiinitely helped to gang up on them, instead of going 1v1 with them.

^ are you flying with fixed? or using gimbals? Bucc's do suck (ha!) but using the gimbaled S4 makes the job a lot easier. You should practice Pirate Swarm, and see (the real nimble pain's in the ass are the damn P-52's). My current manuver now is to get my 4 laser cannons centered on the enemy...

Yes, my philosophy is that everybody should get proficient at the stock weapons on their ship, just so they don't needlessly waste money an upgrades.

Gimbal assist was the highlight of 3.5 & 3.6. Whatever they did to get that in-game, totally fucked fixed weapons (and they were pretty broke before, with ESP being all goofy). Back in 3.4, my Warden with a M7A was fantastic, doing bounties and sniping targets 2500m+ ... now, you could not hit...

I don't think you can fly the Connie in Arena Commander (maybe I'm mistaken). Not getting your ship on the landing pad at Port Olisar definitely sounds like a problem. Maybe you need to put in a support ticket? When do you normally play? I or anybody else in TEST could let you fly one of ours...
