Did a security mission of putting down a homeless encampment on hurston. While being an agent of death some player shows up blows up my ship hovers around looking for me gives up and flies away. Not really much a player on foot can do against a ship. Not even sure a rocket launcher would help.

While true it was my understanding that one's ships disappear after one logs out so wouldn't be targeted by players.

So it seems a ship left docked when you log out for the night has a high priority of being destroyed. That the best place for persistent is in space/ landed or in your hangar.

I wonder if you reset your account if it would then work?

I will add the caveat that in an mouse and keyboard user in sc and so I predominantly have cruise control on as I feel it gives beter control of the ships speed

I have to admit master modes is not all bad. I like being able to control when the ship moves between the different modes unlike hover moded. Which I wish they would bring back with it being toggled by vtol. But right now landing mode seems fine and the shield recharge after switching off...

Tried to do the save stanton mission for some quick cash. But the laggy servers just have my ships explode shortly after warping to the becon with no indication as to why. Maybe I should try the warp to Pyro.

Today wasn't so bad. While the server was laggy I was able to play for a few hours with out a crash. Ended up doing the stanton cargo mission twice. Hopefully this implementation of being able to move cargo around is just their tier0 as it's tedious even for just 10 boxes.

Only if you have left over hardware that you know goes somewhere but no clue where. And no the hardware to secure it to the wall doesn't count that's suppose to be thrown away at the start of the project.

Not sure how applicable that example is as it's more akin to poker where you have the real risk of loosing all your cash. And you get to decide if when and how much your willing to risk. After all game items are simply representation of sunken time and not a real risk to outside game resources...
