OH wait, I had a similar problem. Well the button was there but it didn't do anything. On the right hand side of the screen, there's a tab that says, "Settings" click that. Then find the button for "Verify files" or something like that. This worked for me when I needed it.

The pioneer does come with 1 8Km X 8Km square land claim (This was from the the initial concept sale). I *think* it still comes with that.

I believe that you will not be able to permanently steal someone's land claim - but you may be able to disrupt it operations on a land claim, including taking over mining operations etc. My Pioneer, and I suspect others in and out of TEST Squadron will be available to hire for constructing an...

Hm. I would buy land claims but, I'm reluctant until I know how they're going to incorporate that into game play. At the moment, it seems too simplistic. (or "gimmick" as I wrote originally.)
