If you have two computers and if one is the back up for the other, and if it is as was in the concept art that a medium computer has 4 blade slots, then it is one blade per computer per turret. I'm smelling an awful lot of IF coming off that statement though. :)

A pair of medium computers can run 4 turrets, per the Hammerhead Q&A. Now a medium computer has 4 blade slots, per concept art, so how that works is an open question.

And here is why the Connie is not being replaced by the Mercury, for me. It isn't my primary combat ship, neither would be. 4 Size 4 Gimballed weapons vs. 2 Size 2, in case I actually have to shoot someone. (The defensive turrets are the same.) Exploration grade sensors. 52 missiles vs. 4...

I don't see the Mercury as an upgrade. I do see it as, potentially, non-redundant next to my Andromeda. For me, the Andromeda stays. The fate of the Mercury is up to future gameplay and far from certain. :)

So far the suit, as described, isn't verry effective onboard ships and stations given the armament, much less size, described. Lines of sight indoors is intentionally, in game, too short. What they have shown, so far, are open country systems. Use a Rover, a pair of Cyclones, a squad on bikes...

BUK's have not been abandoned. The nomenclature has been changed and it is no longer a one click install but they very much still exist and are waiting on tech to implement.

I didn't mean to imply the images shown were the new MSR, except for the holotable view in the video. I have an MSR in a scoundrel pack. I also have a Connie. The MSR isn't going to replace my Connie.:) I am not certain the MSR is going to stay because it isn't going to replace my Connie.
