The practical use of Carrier birds.

The Mandalorian compared to "Team Awesome Force" from Killjoys. :) That depends on what the Redeemer winds up being. It has crossed my mind, and would keep me all Aegis. :) As for hunting bounties on foot, or more precisely, on the ground. Why risk a multi-million credit ship for a 20K Bounty...

Last word is that is up in the air.

Or an Idris with a Rail Gun. LOL

I have some friends. I've no real intention to seriously solo bounties. :)

One of the biggest holes, with prison game play coming online, is the mid tier Bounty Hunter ship (that isn't made by Drake. :) ) There is also no endgame Bounty Hunter Ship. We have 3 low end ships, the Avenger, the Hawk and the Cutlass Blue, and that is it.

The Ursa does not fit in the Mercury, according to the information. The turret access is at the end of the ramp. The ramp and the Turret access split the cargo hold making it questionable if you can even fit a Dragonfly in the cargo hold.

I like the Valk, and if they hadn't gimped the cargo and it didn't have the crew size I would have to consider it, even at that price. I spent quite a bit of time in one during a couple of PTU and the Anniversary sale. With that crew size (The same with the Carrack and the Hammerhead.) I have...

The practical use of Carrier birds.

The Herc is huge. (Much bigger than I want to deal with. :) ) I just hope the interior makes more sense than the Starfarer. The Price (C2) fits between the Phoenix and the Valk. Thanks for bringing it up though. In theory the Ursa will fit in a Max, if they allow the stupid turret arms to...

The practical use of Carrier birds.

The Valk flies well, it feels like it fits between the Freelancer and the Vanguard for flight and it has a Raza vibe to it. With the crew size the crappy crew accommodations and the gimped Cargo, I like it but I don't think it is the one for me. It is too single role. :) The Carrack is too...

The practical use of Carrier birds.

My current fleet is an Avenger, a Sabre, a Vanguard Warden and a Retaliator, plus a couple of bikes. In my fleet the Sabre serves the role of Carrier fighter for the Org, stealth recon and hard hitting combat craft to cover other missions. The Avenger is supposed to fill the role of...

I'd settle for getting rid of the struts. Oh and it looks like someone ate a whole box of grreebles then puked all over it.

Roadmap: where did the Cutty Blue go?

It is now sitting in 4.0. Without the game play mechanic figured out, I think that might be optimistic.

The Hoplite not having the hardpoint is not necessarily the case. Now that they have been standardized there is no reason not to have the hardpoint. In fact J. Crewe implied that it does. Since, at this moment, none of them have that hardpoint, there is no way to know, either way.

    is the Carrack undermanned?

The cargo are modular bays. Living module, like the Retaliator?

    is the Carrack undermanned?

Thd bigger problem for as starship is not the number of bunks but life support capacity. While the Carrack is not s "combat vessel" it is also designed for, unlike a freighter or tanker, for solo operation away from support. Which, IMHO, makes it both undermanned and under gunned.

    is the Carrack undermanned?

It isn't about the beds, but the crew requirements. How many hours a day do you spend in bed? The mission appears to require, at a minimum, pilot, engineer(s), shuttle pilot, astrogator, sensors, 2 drone operators, doctor, nurse, 2-4 person away team, 4 gunners. Crew of 6 is pilot, Engineer...
