Regarding boats, exactly what I thought of on seeing the fin, thus it feels wrong. It's perfectly the wrong scale to be anything. It's way too short and small for what you'd have on a boat, or as an aero piece, but too blocky and large for an aesthetics piece. I feel like they had a design...

Agreed on the fin messing up the design. It's way too blocky compared to the rest of the sleek naboo design, serves no purpose, and it's scale is just exactly wrong. Too small to be impactful, too large to not be an eyesore. It either needs a sensor pod or something slightly bulbous on it's end...
