Smithing would only really be able to be done if you make it a 2-player mode. Basically, whoever is Smithing for you is playing in your game cooperatively and not advancing their own game in any way. Yeah, you might then wire them their share of the credits made via the intergalactic bank, but...

Spectrum is still missing some basic functionality, so i'd say it's still a looooong way off.

Because they are still building the game Optimisation (where they go through and refine the code so it runs stable on as many PC builds as is possible) has yet to occur and it probably won't be done until much closer to launch. Some PC rigs that should be able to knock this game out of the park...

Totally a Saber Raven. I'm still trying to work out what the wreck is next to that Cutlass... is it just an Ursa?? Can't be a 300 it's too wide but looks to have the doors that open upwards....? Also can't identify the ship that flies over the desert planet and the frozen planet, my best guess...

I'd expect it to move in the Roster away from being described as a 'starter', as the 300 is supposed to be doing. At present the Gladius is looking to be a little inferior, in DPS at least... I know, and at least my 350r got its nose point back, but damn it didn't hold a competitive advantage...

If every other development studio didn't start work on a Star Citizen clone when they saw how successful the crowd-funder was they were ignoring a major market... There is potentially $200 million to be made by just hardcore fans of the genre, combine that with a mainstream studio and publisher...

Goddamn can the 300 series never get a buff and enjoy it for more than five minutes without another ship coming and pissing on its parade? :)

Now there is a thing: Reading the comments on the Reddit one person does point out that as the rocket fuel makes its own oxygen as it burns it should be able to be fired under-water too. I'd expect Energy Weapons to be most powerful in space, slightly weakened in atmosphere and totally useless...

Thanks for input, back to the drawing board. The mini-missile idea is interesting, might be worth the extra money per round if they are self-guided heat-seekers that give you a highly accurate kills-per-shot advantage - there was a heatseeker bullet in the game Dredd Vs Death. (Judge Dredd)
