That bug is damn annoying (spawning without components). Anecdotally, the Cutty seems to be more affected than other ships... In any case, you shouldn't have to buy another ship...but if you do, I'm sure you will enjoy it, lol. Don't forget about the Freelancer MIS!

Dude, right now I believe Mr. NaffNaff's advice is the best way to go... I highly reccomend it. Fixed weapons are totally borked right now, and so is the aiming. I desparately want fixed weapons to get "fixed" but for right now, gimbaled is the way to go. I have no idea when CIG plans on...
