I've actually never heard of the IX's before. I've only seen the III's and VI's. I have tried the Omni's VI's. I'll try them again. I think they're size 2 though, and the sabre has size 3 mounts. The M5A's are laser cannons like the omniskys.

Just saw this as I was catching up on the forum. Thanks man. I sincerely appreciate it. My wife and I just saw them a couple weeks ago here in Edmonton. It was beautiful and heartbreaking all at once. Our Saturday night is watching this last show as well. It'll be a hard one, for sure.

This is how I like to run the Sabre. Monoboating. Usually 4 x M5A laser cannons off of the Khartu-Al, or 4 x Broadswords. I like lower rate of fire and higher impact. Haven't really played with 4x panthers yet. Exactly this. I don't enjoy chasing two sets of pips. I need to remember these...
