    Starfield - Discussion Thread

I'm excited for starfield. I think it gets at 70% of what I wanted out of star citizen. Very excited about the shipbuilding feature. That being said, very few single player games manage to keep my attention for more than 10 to 15 hours nowadays. Which is a problem I can see coming from miles...

If you're looking to buy a ship from RSI, buy one of mine from me instead? - Would be a great help

Yeah as a long time backer I'm starting to get annoyed at the lack of results. But as others noted it is right after the big ship sale, basically the exact wrong time. Of course, real life problems wait for no one and nothing. Shamefully is not the word though, everyone is allowed to have...

    Vanduul helmets

It's very different. People keep telling me the helmets are at outposts, but I've only really found them at arcorp 141 mining and shubun mining on delamar? They are in red crates. You should bring armor with a backpack. Good luck!

You know, I bought another SSD, but I need a skinny one, that looks like a stick to fit in my laptop. It wouldn't fit! I've gotten alienware r4 laptop from like 2013-5 with a 1070 lol.

ok maybe a silly question but...

Nope, it just monitors your real dollar total spend. So he has the total spend for two (or just one, as I will explain below). He probably either has credit, or if he didn't mention that, he may have bought something with that credit and transferred it out of the account. In this case, he...

How will we defend player bases when we're away?

Oh my God I want an asteroid base.

I might try to look for one this weekend, but my install finally exceeded my SSD size so I had to transfer it to my HDD. Pray for me.

How will we defend player bases when we're away?

Honestly, rather than cribbing from Eve, I think the best defense will be security through obscurity. By the time we're building bases, I doubt we'll be confined to Stanton. I think bases, outside of large orgs, will mostly be hidden affairs, which will be helped by the massive cave systems...

    Crusader Spirit

That's the main thing I want from my spaceships, cig sometimes seems to have a terminal case of chonk - RIP Carrack. I don't care if she's long as a football field, I want my ships svelte and with sharp lines.

Now you see, the idea is, if there's an intruder stealing your data, you can turn off the gravity and play a special game of electrocution pong by bouncing them on and off the servers.

    Coronavirus COVID-19 Thread

A sterilizing vaccine is one that produces enough immunity to kill the virus before it infects you. Nothing about sterilizing people! It's used most often nowadays to refer to nasal vaccines, they're hoping mucosal immunity will do what injected vaccines could not. And no, you're not missing...

    Coronavirus COVID-19 Thread

I always thought that stopping transmission was a secondary thing, not a primary claim. The best outcome was preventing symptomatic infection. The "slow the spread" rhetoric was about avoiding overwhelming hospitals. Regardless, Pfizer has dropped the ball, we need a sterilizing or...
