I think this could work with single module ships like the Galaxy. But the Endeavor, Retaliator, Carrack, etc would require many, many versions due to the number of potential module combinations. The caterpillar would be a nightmare.

I tend to wait a while and them subscribe for a month and cherry pick the items I think I may want to help make life easier starting out. But after this year's IAE ... all light, medium, and heavy (plus weapons) is available. Many of the FPS weapons in the IAE sets are pretty good as well...

I have 5 game packages + the concierge bonus package. Having a potential 6 total helps me potentially solo my largest personal ships. I have a group of capital sized ships for organization-TEST events. I don't really count those as personal, day-to-day, use ships.

My opinion: I think CIG made this ship due to Pyro. I don't think existing medical and refining ships have the legs to support players in that upcoming system. This was an opportunity to combine those industries into one ship to support player activities. Cargo? Always a cargo ship. I hope...

I passed on today's warbond CCU ... it overlapped with another upgrade I have in my hangar.
