So far they have not allowed individual guns on a turret and all the documents do not hint at that being a possibility it seems that turret mounts will be a fixed gun group but it is entirely possible that they release turrets with mixed guns.

I'm with you on that. If Oculus pulls it off, I might just need to finally get around to upgrading my GPU.

My thought on that is most ships will hardly have any players on them most positions will be taken over by AI. So while a ship like the Polaris and Idris can have 50 players on them at most I think these ships will have 5 players and lots of NPC's doing the more mundane roles.

I can see us just standing in our hangers marveling at all the ships we ended up collecting.

It really depends on if its in SQ42 or not.
