We aren't, we are upset that CIG is favorably pushing a piece of hardware to its playerbase it can't even really utilize, that also happens to be a worse product in price size storage space and performance than its competitor.
Thats not mentioning the exclusive ship that is better then its...
*shrug* I'm no CIG business person, and I wouldnt pretend to know if they got a good deal or not, but I still feel it was at the expense of the user base here...
And I get that, but it still rubs me the wrong way that they are helping push a product to us that most of us would not benefit from in the slightest bit. (assuming you have at least a regular SSD)
They could have done the same thing by selling the Raven directly to us and buying the ssd's no? They make like 1-2 million a weekend per sale lol
Wouldn't have to shill for Intel that way.
The Intel Optane 900p SSD is roughly $400 for 280GB and
Max Sequential Read: Up to 2500 MBps
Max Sequential Write: Up to 2000 MBps
4KB Random Read: Up to 550,000 IOPS

Sometimes I think to myself,
"Gee self, wouldn't it be fun to start an org with some close friends!"
And then I read stuff like this. I'll leave it to Montoya.
I bought 10 the first sale in 2015. Im not sure why, as I never intended to sell them or anything, I just really had a itchy payment trigger back then.
It is comforting to know if I ever lose the one I keep in my wallet I have backups though.
Yes and yes.
The next largest torpedo is from the polaris at 10m x 1m , and they have 28 of them. However the polaris only has two launch bays.
The Javelin most likely got 4 more torpedoes so you can fire 8 volleys instead of 7... someone didn't like odd numbers.
