You should be able to grab food at your ships mess/ food dispenser and it gets restocked every time you fill up with fuel and weapons. They should obviously have hundreds of uses before they run out, but CIG should have made them functional when the brought the mechanic in.

And.......two awful, awful ships on offer. The Buccaneer despite its buff is still far too weak when compared to the Gladius, Avenger, and 325a. And the Hornet series ships are arguably the worst in the entire game right now.

This is the thing, for the vast majority of players scatter guns are a terrible choice. If you have the ability to mount 2 S4s, and can fly for shit you just mount Rhinos on there and kill other fighters before they get into gun range.

You dont get 70 dollars more ship when you buy a Super Hornet over a standard. Certainly now all of the bits that make the super hornet “super” can be purchased in game, and will stay on the ship even when you reclaim it. I also prefer the Hornet to the Sabre, but the model looks like dogshit...
