True. Hopefully one day soon we'll be able to link scanners between ships we own and can scan a huge area with the Carrack, then go out in the Pisces or Rover to gather up a bunch of nodes. Or give us hand scanners! Or switchable scanners on smaller vessels!

The savings number may be the same, but the percentage savings is what's important. If you save $200 of a $700 thing and $200 off a $1200 thing, you're getting way more value with the cheaper one. At least when it comes to digital space ships.

Depending how much money you have in the game or want to spend, the $695 Exploration package is priced as if the Carrack were still dirt cheap. I dont care for all the ships that come in it, but I've upgraded almost all of them already.

Very cool, but I think you're making an assumption about the Carrack not finding hand movable nodes with sensors. As the almost top tier vessel for exploration I expect it to come with advanced sensors. Probably better than the Red's, which can detect nodes.

Yeah, they've said that SC is only like a 10 year project after release, so we'll never need more than IAE. But something tells me it'll probably go far longer than 10 years if they somehow find a way to make money from it.

As far as the ships that are currently out or in concept, I think I'm done with my fleet. But you can be damned sure I'll probably throw a little money at some new ones that really spark my interest! With the way they've been doing tons of Warbond stuff, at least it's a little cheaper. Or...

Would have to do grey market. My Merchantman buyback is for the $250 price, I think it's $350 now. And the Defender should be on anniversary sale for the $220. Would be far cheaper to just do it that way.

I love the way it flies, it's got a super cool QT, and the shields are awesome except for the holes. The guns kinda suck, but those can be replaced, trying to right now lol. And I'm contemplating buying back the Merchantman in my buybacks to go with it, the Banu architecture is amazing!
