Quick notes, the 980ti is now out gunned. Grab a 1080/1070 instead. Will be a better pick long term. Much better cases for the money. If you plan on playing SC your need a bigger SSD. Buy a 500gb or larger. Also the 950 pro may be a better pick as it has the drivers off the bat. No OEM...

Quite a few streamers, myself included use capture cards still. It is for added stability, should SC cause a system crash, the stream will not crash. Plus it is more GPU power we can use for the game, and use a side rig to encode.
