Indeed, i should really go back and re watch at least a couple of seasons. All the memory i have of the show is KITT , the awesome gadgets and tech things and the Hoff.

Well this is a small list: Star Wars. Alien and Aliens. Firefly. Transformers. And some more that i cannot remember off the top of my head. And one Sci-fi that is not space based whatsoever but still a childhood memory: Knight Rider. ( Don't really remember too much about it)

I guess since it is in the luxury part they wanted to have more space to make it feel exclusive with open areas and/or more quarters/living space. Still i hope that it does not grow too much in size from that since we still need a medium class luxury looking ship that is more available to people...
