Honestly most people will never run SLI. It's is often better to run a single high end card vs two mid range cards. So a motherboard with vertical connectors are kinda a meh to me unless you have a ton of drives.

If it is a trash PSU, it should be on the top of the list to upgrade. A bad PSU can make a great rig into nothing fast and passes along extra wear to the rest of the components.
