True. We will see NPC Idris very soon actually (for the crime stat response for instance). But player Idris is not supposed to be released before SQ42.

From the look of it the guns + turrets is 15+ meters long when compared to the MSR known size (40m if still current size?). It is a bit shorter compared to the S7 on the Ares Ion/Inferno, so this is even probably a turret with dual sized 6/7 guns. View: https://youtu.be/2LjrafbpDLs?t=287
