Technically most of it is gibberish ;) Layer 7 attack is a DDoS attack, the first thing you do when your service gets attacked is to take it offline and cron scripts are non existent, cron jobs are used for system tasks like scheduled backups not flipping avatars. I lost it at the hamsters.
