Firing arcs, the degrees of rotation that a gun has. Fixed guns have a 0-3° firing arc. Gimballed have a 0-15° firing arc. Turrets can have a 0-360° firing arc. Some ships have these arcs blocked by the ship hull, so they end up having less of an arc. This is my educated guess
