They go on about how having space battles would be pointless because all the action would be planet side. Then do it like bf1 and bf2 and have your space battles as separate maps and modes? They were some of the best bits of the old games.

As someone who's played LoL since season 1, it's as you say the competitive aspect that keeps drawing me back. A good game can feel like a game of chess almost, there's a deep level of skill, strategy and team work needed to win in ranked. It helps that riot is a really good company that works...

Ok the hostel contacted me to let me know that if we're booking a group of 7 people or more I'd have to pay the full amount a week in advance. Now by that stage it may not be a problem for me considering I'm pretty sure I'll be back in a job by next week but we'll see I guess.

No venue set either, I'm guessing it should be within a reachable distance of the city center though.
