I have to disagree on that... The individual performance of fighters is close to insignificant on the overall picture, it's just that right now FM and what not are balanced for Arena Commander only (and even then badly), but you'd never have such artificially balanced encounters in the PU...

The Hurricane for example does have a quad mount turret. From what I've heard Quad works with just taking one size down from twin mount.

I don't like the design much... and it seems they ripped off some pieces, like the Sabre's intakes and the Scimitar's Nose-Guns. The Nose Guns would mean 2 Fixed S5 so that would be something to work with... but for me, 175$ would be too expensive, even more so for a relatively small Ship.
