The PU alpha is the social module. Buying a ship with alpha access is more expensive than just buying the module passes.

Alpha is just module access. It means if you bought a ship before a certain date, you get AC and the FPS module for free. Those modules only cost 5$ ATM, so it's not really worth it to track one down. If you buy a ship now, you get beta access, which gives you the final game and the Persistent...
