I recommend the Vanguard Warden. It a long range fighter with decent armor, good shields, and powerful weaponry. For me this means good all around and you have the range to actually get to where you are needed. Just something to consider.

To be honest I hope they allow the Carrack to map jump points without have to jump through one. Otherwise a mapping oriented sensor suite is exactly what the 315P has. SO what then sets the Carrack apart? You have my guess. Just my 2 cents.

Also, wouldnt be surprised if the Vanguards MVSA lasers gets an upgrade after all the recent buffs to combat oriented ship loudouts. Like maybe making each MVSA laser a S3 equivalent as far as dmg goes

I almost classify the Cutlass Blue now as a heavy fighter. I mean assuming same loudout of 6x S3 guns plus armor that may very well surpass the SH.... Yeah, definitely a potential heavy fighter in my eyes.
