I was a fan of ATI back in the All in Wonder days, and I never had problems with cards going bad, but it was their Catalyst software that finally pushed me away from ATI/AMD in the last 5 years or so. I had heard about failure problems in AMD cards, but I never saw the actual numbers though...

I just finished the Conqueror series by Timothy Zahn. It was pretty good. I thought the ending was kinda meh, but I enjoyed the journey. I was thinking about trying some of Zahn's Star Wars novels next. Have you read any of those, and if so would you recommend?

I just got in for the first time, after changing absolutely nothing, so it is looking more and more like all server side stuff. Of course I was kicked out after only a few min, but at least I got to log in. I'll come back tomorrow and try again.

I haven't even been able to log into the hangar even once yet. I got the login failure every single time except for one, and that time it acted like it wanted to load for about 20-30 seconds, but then it failed again.

In the launcher click on the settings button. Then uncheck "Report Errors to Server:" check box. And select a language. That should solve the blank screen, but there is a good chance you will run into the dreaded "Connection Error: Login Failed!" error message. And if you can get passed that...

Those Obsidian cases are really nice. I have been using the 550d for a couple years now, and I am very happy with it. That 250d would be perfect for putting together a steam box. I wish I had the funds to do so now, but I will probably have to wait till about this time next year.
