I have LTI on a couple ships and I have a couple without. I expect the cost of insurance will be higher on higher value ships, so my high value ones generally get LTI, whereas I don't care as much about LTI on low value ships like my 315p that is part of my game package.
I backed it at the lowest level. I love space games and am willing to give it a try for €15. Who knows if it will turn out to be decent or just another flop of a space game, but I'm sure I'll spend some time playing it if it makes it through production. Low risk for what could turn into...
Making a new post, prices changed for the better, so I thought it made sense to start this one over.

This is not true. You can only melt for however much you've put into it. If you bought an original starfarer for $195 and after the price increase you decided to upgrade it to a Carrack, you would have spent $50 on the carrack upgrade and $195 on the original ship. Your melt value would be $245.
I'm not really certain which one of these to choose. I'll have to fly both and see what I think. I haven't really considered whether I want a bomber in my fleet.
Yeah, in the summer I was consistently buying store credit at 70%, sometimes even lower. That's how I was able to offer discounted CCU'd ships to many testies. Mostly that store credit would come from people who no longer wanted the game and just wanted a quick way to get some of their money...
I used to have the black version of your roommates bike, loved that bike. Sadly my close friend died in a motorcycle crash last year, so I quit riding. Be careful out there, drivers are morons.
That's not true, they've offered discounts when upgrading certain ships to certain ships on a "Sale" before like the Aurora to Reliant sale that was on recently. People can use those discounts when upgrading an LTI token (argo/DF/P72) to whatever you want. So we definitely can't say they "Never"...
