    I don't think P2W is gonna be an issue in SC simply because of maintenance costs. That's the balancer. You buy an Idris - sure, you can kick ass, but you have to pay for fuel, ammo, maintenance, and of course, the crew. Dozens of positions - and then the fighters you're carrying.

    Titan Avenger is a great ship, best value IMO. Cutlass Black is also a very good, albeit bigger option. And there are no sales that bring prices down, except for discount starter packages once in awhile. -edit- Also, how long ago did you fly the Avenger? It got a nice rework in 3.2.
