I'd disagree; the rift doesn't need input devices as it's not responsible for controlling the media you watch through it, it's responsible for displaying them. I'm sure there's something out there, but I can't think of a single application for the rift where the hardware you were getting it for...

It's totes a thing, but it's been supplanted by elite, which does everything that E:M does except planetary stuff, and does it better in most cases. I was playing E:M all the damn time when I first pledged for star citizen.

This is true, but at the same time, the wonderful thing about the scythe sale is that it truly is an "early bird getting the worm" situation. I'm totally OK with the scythe never going on sale again, and only being obtainable through in-game capture in the PU.

I'm not mad about the bundled xbox controller because it's an xbox controller. I'm mad about the bundled controller because I don't need anything to come with my rift except the rift, and this will almost assuredly jack the price up by ~$50.
