A good exploration fleet will have the Carrack, Reclaimer and an Orion, that way you can find it and exploit it. (please note I said exploit, NOT explode....although that's fun too)

I would have bought more but I'm saving some for the Carrack.

I got a super hornet, starfarer and caterpillar. That gives me 8 ships so far, I may need to stop spending money.
