Wait, sell me on this idea real quick before the 3.18 Live decision. Sure Lorville is more 'central' in the system and thus the closest to all the other planets, however I'd generally still give NB the edge for two reasons:
1.) Being able to land at The Commons and bypass the entire...
I heard you could get it at Cubby Blast in A18, though didn't verify myself. Also you don't NEED the tractor beam, just sprint straight into the SCU box and you can pretty easily 'bump' it out of the way. I was actually surprised at how much 'better' the physics seemed to be when I did this!
Yeah not at all, totally exploiting a glitch, sorry! Oh, one other fun tidbit though, the Commons dome is apparently made of a special 'one-way' material; you can fly UP through it like it's not there, but you can't come back DOWN through it!
Do it, just in case CIG closes the loophole in 3.18 (though hopefully they don't, lol)! Fly through the wall right between the tubes, and then carefully 'feel' you way along (you'll bump off random 'walls' along the way) until you see the underside of the dome. Once you're 'there' you can fly...
Flew in between the 2 subway tunnels. 85x was pretty easy, though the Pisces with the golfcart in the butt seemed trickier, even though I don't think it's really any bigger. Hardest part was actually getting the dumb PTV back OUT of the Pisces!
Also for any non-native speakers, always remember that English is a bastard child with more varied precursors (Latin, Germanic, Old English, etc.) than almost any other language, and as such the vocabulary has become overly extensive! In some ways it's fun to explore these nuanced differences...
Ah, or is it perhaps BETTER this way, as per our discussion above, I wonder if it might end up being easier NOT worrying about 'transporting' your various modules, and just 'buying' the specific module you need where you are, then 'selling' it off and buying a different one at your next port of...
Ok @Bambooza, I do get that point and generally agree with it. I too think these short/cheap claim times are temporary. But I also think that there will be some sort of monetary way to 'transport' your junk without needing to physically ferry everything yourself. Take Elite Dangerous as an...
I thought it was just the current issue with the S5 projectile speeds and so on; did they actually change something about the ship turrets themselves? Since I'm usually the one in the pilot's seat, I could have easily missed a more subtle nerf in the turrets; what exactly happened?
Naw, I'm gonna disagree with this part. Yes there are only one or two ships I use as daily drivers (Sentinel and 600i), however there's already enough diversity in gameplay loops that having a broader fleet is advantageous. Xenothreat? Time to bring out the Redeemer! 9tails? Out comes the MSR...
