I'm guessing an EMP charge is one which is detonated with no warm-up or EM giveaway, but has limited shots, whereas an EMP generator is unlimited in use but has a warm-up time and big EM signature... ....just a guess though.

Happy New Year, TK! Yes, many players will be familiar with the controls and some of the mechanics when the game goes live - but with 100 star systems I'd counter that when you go to a new town, does your enjoyment of it deminish because you don't have to learn how to walk before you check out...

I thi k its a good distraction technique. if they can write a bad joke on the side of all my ships missiles it may help repel countermeasures, but the missile has to survive the joke itself befor it can be fired.... might not work.

Being a resident of the UK it is a term I am familiar with - as far as I am aware it means being strongly supportive of something, often while being exceedingly vocal in a positive manner. A full throated endorsement of something would be one which is overwhelmingly enthusiastic.
