[USAF / ARMY / NAVY / MARINES / CIV] - PMEL and TMDE

Thanks man. Yeah That's about the extent of the experience I had. I managed our PMEL program, which had about 900+ items so I know all about the inspection / cal requirements, but we let the Lab do the precision cals for TMDE. I did system cals on aircraft but that's a whole different story...

I can make the Kessel run in under 12 PERSECs. On a different note, SpaceX emailed me back and said they would not be moving forward. No surprise. It seems this is a specific position with a specific skillset. Looks like I'll be moving to the Bahamas once HR gets hold of me for the other job...

Alright, lets build on this. The stripper pole(s) will be clear and have beer flowing through it. The poles will be flanked by hot tubs and blackjack tables. Cruise ships have mini bars everywhere, why can't we? The toilets will be made of an unknown element more valuable than gold, and much...

    Science and Futurism

Interesting post from DARPA. Artificial intelligence has made great strides, but until now that progress hasn’t extended to the realm of organic chemistry. That changed when researchers supporting our Make-It program taught computers to plan chemical syntheses. Using the Chematica platform, a...

If you were designing a ship from the interior out ...

I hear ya on that. It seems like unconventional cockpits would allow for some interesting gameplay. People would complain about a certain design, but it turns out with a skilled pilot it could be OP at whatever you have it doing. Plus they look cool.

Thanks cosmic. I secured that job in the bahamas according to the manager looking to hire me, but they are well aware of the interviews with SpaceX as well. I just want to get to a point to where I just have to pick which path I want to go down. They both hit me at once. And thanks all. Now...

If you were designing a ship from the interior out, what would you like to see in SC? Think.. Practicality, Accessibility, Function, Crew requirements and Amenities. Also cool factor and wether or not it has a TEST brand kegerator.

Thanks bam. Literally everyone has been telling me this, I just need to relax. @Black Sunder sent this my way earlier and it helped calm me down because I was laughing my ass off.

Ha, any help is appreciated. I think they want me to know how to cal oscilloscopes (I use O-scopes to cal things and Have done self cals, but never NIST level Cals) and stuff like working in a 68 degree Fahrenheit controlled temp room (metal neither expands nor contracts at that temp) and maybe...

Apologies. I didn't want to waste anyone's time. I was going for the "you either know it or you don't" approach, but it's as Wolfy stated.

My dad was taken by cancer. (I wasn't close with him but it's somewhat relevant). My grandfather is 91 and I'm waiting for his day to come. He had Tripple bypass while I was just getting ramped up in my new assignment in the military, so I understand having the stress then adding the fear of...
