I have a real old computer and the memory is at a steady 32% usage. I'm sure 16G is plenty. edit: opps 32% of 64 is 20.5G, that is how much memory my computer is using when SC is running.

I thought it was over Dec 5th? I don't see those ships in the pledge store anymore. Looks like they don't want upgrades to be in buy backs.. That bites, I was just melting them because my account was a mess.

Everything I purchased from the IAE event and melted is still not available for buy back. It did say that after the event it would be available.. Anyone else having this problem?

I think both Idris and Jav are done, for awhile now, maybe just some minor tweaking that they're taking their time with. There were videos of the Idris battling each other 2 years ago. You don't need to land. Just hover over the station and run in to sell. I've sold stuff from an 890 there and other places I can't land. Mind you that's just for fun, when seriously trading I use a cat not 890 :p

You can fill a cat with diamonds. They are unlimited. And the price never goes up, maybe just a tiny bit.

Don't forget diamonds! They are shinny and pretty, but most important they almost never vary in price (not sure why). Oh and they generate the highest profit/cargo space out of all the legal stuff. I stay away from Drugs and Laranite as both always cap me around 400k making Titanium & Astatine...

Everyone seems to have a tonne of ships. By game release there will probably be half a billion USD of ships in the verse. I wonder if they will keep all the backers on a separate server and have new players on another server? Then if you want to begin with just a starter ship you can hop servers.

I suspect (like most years) it's the new player's hype. Old players don't buy as much imo. With more content every year more new players are hooked. It looks like Drake took the top spot follow by Aegis, and a close third between Anvil and Origin (not on graph).

I have a few orion to polaris for $100. Here's the problem, they are in buy back and I can't buy back until the event is over (that's what I presume anyways). And I'm not certain if the price on the ccu will change or not because I cannot view it. Edit: I will post back after the event is over...

It takes time to travel between star systems, and having one toon per star system would be great for sure.
