I was thinking the Endeavor would be more like a space lab you can park around nebulae to study them(or cook space meth) while the Carrack is more for hardcore exploring/jump point mapping. I really want to see more of the Endeavor!

I don't really see the need for a bengal, or any persistent base. There will be landing zones in lawless space for anyone who isn't allowed in UEE space, where you won't have to worry about people jacking your stuff/ship. Who will pay the guards, fuel, munitions, and repairs for the bengal...
