I never felt short changed when LTI came back. I was surprised, but hey it meant that I could get LTI on all the fancy new ships. I recognize that LTI is meaningless, but I can't help but need it on ships personally. It's a condition.

I will admit to being... less than pleased with the price. Chances are I'll probably get one anyway, but still think the price is a bad idea.
