Did you try turning it off and on again?

Another thing I do when the ships don't behave is press Z, than Z again (free look on and off). Sometimes it helps.

Seemed to work for me if I landed completely and then turnet the power off. On the other hand, I haven't managed to use auto landing yet.

I might be wrong, but I think Levski and Grimhex are faster in tucking your ship away than Olisar. I've witnessed my ship being taken away mere seconds before I entered it a few times.
